About Lonesome Andy:
Andi Unter, born 1984 in South-Germany, is a Guitar and Harmonica player and Singer, interested in musical genres like Prewar Blues, Swing, Ragtime and early Gospel. With his Stringband “Andis Bluesorchester” he released already two CDs and played gigs all around Germany and nearby countrys. Now he is starting his solo project with a new album and different name...

About the music:
You will find 13 titles which are all original compositions except the traditional “One kind favor Blues”. All songs are based on and rooted in the Country Blues tradition and played in a One Man Band setup, which includes Guitar, Harmonica, Vocals, Bassdrum and HiHat, all played at the same time.

About the recording:
This CD has been recorded at Black Shack Recordings in Germany. All songs were recorded in a live situation, with vintage microfones and analoge technic. This should give the Album a live-concert caracter without perfection but a lot of energy.
