Anna Elisa Lindkvist - Days of Wine and Roses (2021)

The title of the album - Days of Wine and Roses - is taken from the English poet Ernest Dowson's poem Vitae Summa Brevis Spem Nos Vetat Incohare Longam, which can be freely translated as "The brevity of life prevents us from harboring any long-term hope". The title of the poem is in turn a quote from the Latin poet Horace and thus a link is tied back in history between Horace the Elder and Horace "the younger", namely László Horvath who became known to the public under the pseudonym Ladislaus Horace.
