GianAndrea Noseda’s cycle of the complete symphonic poems of Franz Liszt has taken him to include the much loved Faust Symphonie. Coupled with the very last symphonic poem Liszt wrote, Von der Wiege bis zum Grabe, it makes a very full disc with the BBC Philharmonic putting in an extremely powerful performance and together with GianAndrea’s interpretation, will leave you breathless.

Faust Symphony has no "chorus mysticus" but 2nd Version (1857-1880, with Harp, Trumpets, Trombones, Tuba, Timpani, ...), not 1st Version (1854, Brass is only Horns, no Harp nor Timpani).
Someone knows any recording of 1st Version (only Horns) ?
Iván Fischer seems same as this.
Thanks for Vol. 2 ^.^
