Following the release of the "Manfred" Symphony (OC665) "A Manfred to die for" MusicWeb International CD of the Month, the Gürzenich Orchestra has taken on the most popular of Tchaikovsky's works. Having trained in St. Petersburg and Moscow, Kitayenko's competence as a conductor of Tchaikovsky is undisputed.
