Ozone - Glasses (1983) [Reissue 2006]

First time on CD reissue of their 1983 fifth album originally released on the Motown label. Ozone were formed in Nashville in 1977 by three former members of the funk band the Endeavors: Benny Wallace, Jimmy Stewart & Charles Glenn. The group perfected a mix of up-tempo dance material and romantic ballads that was heavily influenced by the Commodores. They were also session & touring musicians with many acts, recording & backing artists including Teena Marie, Syreeta, Debarge, Sammy Davis, Jr.. & Luther Vandross among others. Their biggest disco funk hit from this album was "(Our Hearts) Will Always Shine").
