Margot Blue - (re)currents (2021)

Margot Blue is an electronic musician from Los Angeles. She started making music with her partner during their first winter in Chicago together, as a way to unwind from the stress of graduate school. Since then, she has fallen in love with sonic possibilities of eurorack modular synthesizers.
Her first album, (re)currents, explores the complexity one feels when facing the unknown. Composed through improvisations with modular synths, ambient textures, and field recordings, (re)currents invites the listener to balance in the liminal space between falling and flying, music and noise, wonder and grief.
