NRG Bridges - Intertwined Roots (feat. Gianluigi Trovesi, Adalberto Ferrari & Andrea Ferrari) (2021)

The NRG Bridges album, the trio born from the collaboration between Gianluigi Trovesi and NovoTono, the duo of the brothers Adalberto and Andrea Ferrari, is released for PDM Records, recorded at Stefano Amerio's Artesuono: three artists, three generations, common instruments the clarinet and the sax to animate an interplay as dense as it is deep.

Intertwined roots is a real story, with an almost cinematic cut, upon listening to which the listener is invited to trace the path of a completely personal story, leaving free space for suggestions and images, guided by the sounds rich in energy contained in the inside this collection. And this is how the titles arise from the desire to represent real titles of stories, which, as in a book of stories, help to travel with one's imagination. Intertwined roots is the exact concept that can express the work of the trio NRG Bridges, there are in fact many experiences common to the three musicians, such as their classical clarinet training or the ever-changing research work - inside and outside the melody - of always new and different musical worlds. These common roots lived by different generations, come together to become a unique path, like different roots that come together to give life to a single tree, enriched in all its parts by the lifeblood of a soil rich in diversity.
