Discovered after she uploaded a couple examples of her work to the Web, Ari Lennox is an R&B singer/songwriter signed to J. Cole's Dreamville imprint. Based in Washington, D.C., Lennox began uploading her music around 2012 and released her debut EP, Ariography, in 2013. A couple more stray tracks were uploaded in 2014, along with the independently released single "Bound," then in 2015 she signed with Dreamville.
