Midori Siler, leader of Anima Eterna, gives graceful, refined performances, pure and sweet in tone (with a modest, telling use of vibrato), immaculately tuned, thoughtfully and delicately phrased. Between the concertos, the symphony gets a precise, spirited performances, light on its feet and transparent in texture, with the violins properly divided left and right - crucial in a work with so much antiphonal dialogue. It's accomplished and enjoyable, and the recorded sound has an attractive glow.
