Piotr Lemańczyk Electric Band - Boost Time (2021)

Piotr Lemańczyk Electric Band is a project in which Piotr Lemańczyk returns to the bass guitar after a ten-year break. Inspired by the six-string bass, he composed music that complemented his previous activities. By exploring the sounds of "non-acoustic" instruments, it complements and significantly broadens the possibilities of artistic expression. As he himself says: “I love many musical genres, but I don't want to close myself to any of them. The sound design refers to the most outstanding jazz-rock composers. You can hear echoes of Allan Holdswordh, Davis's "Bitches Brew", or references to the works of the most outstanding Polish composers of the 20th century, such as Witold Lutosławski or Krzysztof Penderecki. I invited musicians of the young generation to the project, who, despite their young age, have significant awards and artistic awards in their achievements. They are versatile, creative artists associated with the Academy of Music in Gdańsk. "
