Roman Bislin-Wild, born in 1970, after successfully studying musicology, sociology and ethnomusicology at the University of Zurich, completed further studies in education at the St.Gallen Music Academy, in composition and arrangement with Herman Schmidt and in piano pedagogy at the Uri Music Academy.

As a composer, Roman Bislin-Wild has published numerous works in the field of sacred choral music and musicals. In his compositions he combines classical choral music with various other styles, such as gospel, jazz, Latin, but also Swiss folk music as well as Irish or Latin American music. Oratorios, masses, cantatas and many other choral pieces have emerged in recent years.

In addition to his work as a composer, Roman Bislin-Wild works as a teacher for piano, keyboard, music theory and improvisation at the Toggenburg Music School and as a lecturer at the St. Gallen University of Education. On the other hand, he works as a church musician in the pastoral care unit Uzwil and the Protestant-Reformed parish of Lower Toggenburg and as a pianist in various formations in the fields of jazz, pop and musicals.
