M.O.O.N. - Demos 2014 - 2017 (2021)

this is a collection of material from 2014-2017. in these years I was still living in Los Angeles, operating as M.O.O.N., and concurrently (for a bit) as Boy Stephen.

these tracks are a collection of unfinished, unmixed, unmastered demos and ideas produced in that time frame. some of them are early versions of things that were released, some are things I made with friends that never went anywhere, some were cut from 'Clinically Blasé', and some were Boy Stephen tracks that never saw the light of day.

Style wise they are all over the place, and largely not very good. But there's some fun stuff in there and I felt like I should just put it out as a time capsule of sorts of a difficult time in my life that lead to a lot of growth. I think there is some sort of thru-line in all of these as well as the music I released during these years, leading to the kind of things I make and enjoy today.

50% of the proceeds from this release will be redistributed to artists struggling during the pandemic.
