Lil' Dave Thompson - Deep in the night (2008)

Outstanding Mississippi Blues with a lot of soul. As label owner Andrew Galloway is pointing out, Lil' Dave may well be 'the man we consider the best Mississippi guitar player under 40'. He's also a fabulous songwriter and strong and soulful vocalist. As a guitarist, he plays with a trademark tone. To me, he sounds like a modern-day Albert King: elegant and intense at the ame time.
