Myrthe Luyten, the voice behind Astronaute, was looking for a while. Mainly to themselves, but also to a way to exchange comfort for music. That is why her folk is no longer as fragile as porcelain and the acoustic guitar has been exchanged for an electric one. The songs breathe and listen like honest short stories. Balm for the soul à la Sharon Van Etten, J. Tillman, Damien Jurado, Feist and Sam Amidon. Sometimes a bit more Americana, sometimes overripe indie rock or even a no nonsense ballad.
