Linda Scott - Starlight Starbright (1961)

Linda Scott enjoyed a brief but success laden career in show business before quitting in the early 1970s in order to pursue studies in theology, but she still managed to leave an interesting catalogue. Her first major hit came with I ve Told Every Little Star, a Top Ten and million selling hit in the US and minor UK hit in 1961, prompting an album of linked material based around the stars. It is an interesting collection, even if it doesn t showcase Linda s own writing talents (she would pen several later hits), with excellent musical accompaniment by Hutch Davie and his orchestra and Linda s more than capable vocals.
