The debut album'Character Building'released by Melbourne's Bad Bangs is a popular indie record run by two of the music's hard-workers, Nathalie Pavlovic (Dianas, Snowy Band, Elizabeth) and Sophie McComish (Body Type). This is the first release from the label, Blossom Rot Records.
The debut album has become one of the most anticipated works of the year. With the support of the City of Melbourne, the quartet teamed up with respected producer and engineer John Lee (Laura Jean, Blake Scott, Emma Russack, Stonefield) to record the album.
Fresh off releasing their stellar new single,'Sweet Thing', Bad Bangs have just revealed the film clip for the track, alongside news of their debut album. Before even watching the video,'Sweet Thing' already had us in an imaginative spin with Its sound, summoning warm, nostalgic allusions to '60s garage rock and '70s roots rock. The clip only enhances the retro reverie and stands as the perfect visual accompaniment for the track. Premiere: Bad Bangs flood us back to the '60s with their new clip for'Sweet Thing'.
