Belgian indie rock group. It went fast for Mooneye after winning De Nieuwe Lichting 2019. So fast that Michiel Libberecht was able to focus entirely on the music. No more side jobs in the restaurant of Volvo Ghent or with a funeral director, but being a full-time musician despite corona. But perhaps because of the latter it is still time to answer our difficult year-end lists. Timeless, breath-stopping tracks. Heartwarming melodies. Haunting choruses. A golden voice.
