Emil Asadow - A Home No Longer Exists (2021)

Emil Asadow’s music is impossible to put in one genre box. A longtime fixture in Odesa’s music scene, Emil has cut through the different high-powered avangard Ukrainian musical projects such as Digital Himalayas, Potreba group, Indirect; served in the Ensemble of Military Song and Dance; worked as a foley artist; was part of the independent theater. All these musical experiences and pursuits have crystallized Emil's way towards his own sound, now accurately represented in ‘A Home No Longer Exists’.


Emil's long-awaited debut album, 'A Home No Longer Exists,' coming out on Standard Deviation, is named after his childhood memories of the parental home. The home, where he spent a beautiful time of his life with his sisters, before accidentally burning it down, taking its intimate and intense tone from that time in the producer's life.
