The Four Tops - On Broadway (2015) [Hi-Res]

Produced by Frank Wilson, with vocal arrangements by Lawrence Payton, this LP was too drastic a step to take, deviating too far from what the public expected of the Four Tops. Wilson did not attempt to incorporate the Four Tops' winning formula into these songs. The only listenable track is an endearing rendition of "Make Someone Happy"; Levi is allowed to emote a little on the fade. It's a mystery how this one escaped; Motown usually left experiments like this high and dry.
