At age 7 she chose the saxophone. “For me this instrument means my life, my partner. Thanks to the saxophone I have reached all the places. What I like about it is that it is a very modern instrument, it was born in 1845. It has a lot of versatility and is in continuous development and that makes it different ”.
After completing the Elementary and Middle Years at the Conservatory, she enrolled in the Manuel Castillo Superior Conservatory of Music in Seville specializing in saxophone. However, she Alicia wanted to go further and she auditioned for a master's degree at the Berklee College of Music in Saxophone Perfomance. “It emerged as a dream, where the best musicians such as John Mayer, Charlie Puth, Quincy Jones, Mike Portnoy or Diana Krall, among many others, have studied. I went to Boston, took the tests and got a scholarship. I was there for two years ”. From her experience she also remembers that at first it was hard to adapt to the American way of life, however, if Alicia has shown something, despite her youth, it is that she does not feel an iota of fear and if she wants something, she goes for it. with total illusion.
"Since I was little I have been composing with the piano, at the age of 13 I produced a record of songs." That concern to know more about her production led her to also study a master's degree at the International University of La Rioja in Composition and Production with New Technologies. "I wanted to learn and specialize in production to be able to combine the two." So now, she not only composes her own songs, but she also composes for other artists and produces.
During her career, she has had the opportunity to play in different places around the world such as the Palazzo Strozzi in Florence; with the SYM Don Bosco Orchestra in different parts of Europe; concerts in Spain with Meraki Sax Quartet, Ensemble Nacional Músax, Anexas; with the Madrid Philharmonic Orchestra as her soloist, her Concert for Saxophone and Orchestra composed by herself.

Alicia wants to reach the top of the music. "I want to make a difference, in the sense that people know me, be a reference for other musicians and saxophonists, do things that no one has done." She knows that the world of music is complicated and sacrificing, she practices every day a minimum of 4 or 5 hours and when she does not play the saxophone, she listens to music of all kinds. She is also clear that music should be more present in education. “Culture in general is not important. Painters, sculptors, dancers, actresses, musicians, it is considered secondary. We educate to have an office job and what we have to do is educate children in dreams, which is a hard road, but it can be achieved ”.
