Back to Soul is the project that we will listen to at Jazz Círculo, in which Pedro Ruy-Blas develops and makes his own an essential repertoire for lovers of vocal jazz and rhythm & blues.
He is accompanied on stage by some of the best and most experienced jazzmen that we have in our country: Mariano Díaz Toth on piano; Joaquín Chacón on guitar; Daniel Pozo on double bass; and Dani García on drums.
Pedro Ruy-Blas has been the most important male voice in the field of jazz, soul and black music in Spain for more than five decades. Committed to the artistic trends of his time, his renowned and long musical career goes through milestones such as his leadership in the legendary group Los Canarios; he continues with creation and
foundation of the mythical group Dolores: fruitful seed of an unstoppable and unusual fusion between flamenco and jazz with Paco de Lucía and Jorge Pardo; and he has a leading role, as a singer and actor, in the golden age of Musical Theater in Spain, performing works such as Jesus Christ Superstar, Les Miserables or Cats.
