Axnt - On Impulse (2021)

With "Double Image", the focus was to push the boundaries of a "Beat Tape", tearing away at trends while attempting to be original. The next step was to expand that sound and display the groundworks of production that began as early as 2016 which has been heavily modified over time.

The end result is "On Impulse". A loose narrative focused on the ebb & flow of tension, frustration and high energy with rhythm, release and progression. Flashes from IDM and UK Garage to Jungle and Hip-Hop interweave with each other to represent dramatic scenery similar to films Children of Men and 28 Days Later.
