SinaUbi Zawose - Tanzania (2021)

Dr Hukwe Ubi Zawose, one of Tanzania’s music legends who spent much of his life touring the world, died suddenly in 2003. The legacy of his musical dynasty lives on.

SinaUbi & Zawose Spirit Group create the bridge connecting past and present generations, delivering a new and unique blend of traditional and contemporary Gogo music and dance, with powerful messages sung in Swahili and Gogo dialects.

SinaUbi Zawose born in the largest musical dynasty of The Zawose family. the largest East Africa Gogo Tribe as Msafiri Lacas Zawose born 1st February 1995. SinaUbi Zawose starting as Traditional Dancer and Ngoma player at the age of 10under The perfection and the guidance teaching of The Dr Hukwe Ubi Zawose Dynasty the legend died suddenly in 2003.

The Zawose family didn't like SinaUbi continue playing music on the courtyard of the family without finishing his secular Education But SinaUbi Zawose Continues playing secretly and sing the music of his father and uncles for him music the Gogo music and rhythms run in his vein.

In 2014 he joined the National institute of Art, culture and music in Bagamoyo known as (Tasuba)

In 2008 Sinaubi with the help of his family Zawose spirit, he released his first album of traditional music based on the culture wich is WICHIMAJE

In 2019 Sinaubi was among the competition of EAST AFRICA GOT TALENT, the tournament takes place in Nairob Kenya and had five thousands (5000) artists . Sinaubi managed to reach semi-final in that tournament. He didn't managed to win it but he was on top ten (10) and he makes history in the tournamen by being the first artist from Tanzania and EAST AFRICA to play traditional music LIVE by using traditional instruments like zeze to perform live on stage, he represents well his country by his magical voice SINAUBI ZAWOSE in feb 16 2020 was parformed on biggest festival in EAST AFRICA wich is SAUTI ZA BUSARA and this festival happened every year in february and taken artist in different countries In world.

Sinaubi in April 2020 he has succeeded win The beyond music Award.Beyond music it is a project that brings together various artists around the world and create songs wich is collaboration. Sinaubi has collaborated with artists from portigul and kazkstan to produce,compose and sing a joint song called (uive de lamento) and succeeded win a beyond award wich is $4000 us dollars and to be among of artist who can participate on beyond album that will compiled by the worlds largest producer and professionals musicians in france

MISSION: SINAUBI ZAWOSE has a mission:  To preserve and sustain the heritage leg by their masters Dr Hukwe Ubi Zawose and Charles Ubi Zawose chief of the zawose dynasty  To deliver a high quality live performance traditional songs and dances in Swahili and Gogo tribe  To continue collaborating with the government and their different institutions in promoting Peace, Unity and stability in the Union of Tanzania And different...
