The author couple Tamás Szlávics Tamás Rock founded the band Cirkusz-KA in 2009 to perform their own songs. Berlin, Paris, Hamburg, Cairo, Rome, Brussels, Wroclaw, Sicily, Barcelona are just some of the cities where they have toured with their own repertoire in Hungarian.

Circus-KA's fourth major album has just been released on NarRator Records, entitled "White, Gold." A winter themed album with some songs related to the winter festival. Still, the songs are held together by a meditative, picturesque sound rather than the theme of the lyrics.

Anna Szlávics says about the background of the album:

“It is not primarily the“ set ”of songs that is winter, of course I sing about crisp snow, mulled wine, the story of Bethlehem, my winter atmosphere will be from the slowly breathing musical atmosphere we created with Tamás Rock, the circus-KA musicians and the album’s guest artists. For me, this time of year is a time of watching inward, of summing up, of experiencing a miracle in addition to the more difficult moments.

I think it was all on the fourth album. I write the songs with my co-author, Tamás Rock, I am responsible for the lyrics. We have been working with Gábor Clemente and Dániel Arday for many years, now the quartet breathes together, the final form of the songs is formed in joint music, rehearsals and concerts.
When arranging the songs on the album, we gave ourselves the freedom not to keep in mind the possibilities - and the limitations - of our stage performance. That’s why “White, Gold” might be a different mood for our top three albums. The new colors and perspectives that our musician friends bring to the record are very inspiring. They perform with György Andi on violin, Márton Somogyi on piano and Csilla Ruzics on guitar. ”
