Tor Einar Bekken & Mattis Kleppen - Strippa (2026) [Hi-Res]

The Norwegian duo of pianist and vocalist Tor Einar Bekken and bassist Mattis Kleppen have played together for many years. In October, their second album, STRIPPA, comes out on the label Øra Fonogram. Bekken plays piano and melodica and sings, while Kleppen plays electric bass and foot percussion, so the sound is built on a minimal lineup with no drummer. The record covers a wide stylistic range, from Norwegian folk music to reggae/dub, and from hardcore jazz to ballads. It was recorded and mixed by Jo Ranheim at Øra Studio and mastered by Karl Klaseie.
