"It seems to have been great fun for Ellen Allien while preparing her new mix-CD My Parade. For this time she strikes with a good deal of stereotyped thinking. Where with her two albums Stadtkind (2001) and Berlinette (2003) she as producer set a concise mark in the electronic scene, and now follows the continuation of her mix range from a parallel perspective. Which with Flieg mit... (2001) and Weiss (2002) is a counter project for a firm adjustment with ambitions on a certain sound. In order to know however what makes Ellen Allien exactly now Ellen Allien, lets call it taking a break from the here and now. Confidently a clear statement is to be heard from her in April 2004: 'I love techno! Club me, I club you! Dance with me, Break with me, rock with me -- in the end techno is my only friend. Dream girl, dream boy..."
