Bruno Pronsato - Do It At Your Funeral (2021)

Bruno Pronsato is one of minimal's more characterful producers and for that reason he has survived the passage of time better than the genre itself, in some ways. This new album comes on the always reliably excellent Perlon label and across nine track it explores succulent synth symphonies, abstract sound design and cinematic grooves that will make for tripped out 5am club experiences as well as they will stand up to close home listening on a good set of headphones. The arrangements here are often sparse, but the atmospheres are always full and absorbing, making it another fine entry into this artist's catalogue.
