This album is me trying to learn how to live through the weariness. I studied a lot of music therapy writing it; before I even thought it would be an album. The goal was to find a space that put me out of my body. How can I hit the flow state?
That’s what this album is. I’m inviting you into a room that doesn’t ask anything of you. A place you can be on your own but not alone. That’s why it’s You & I In Unison. I am playing piano but by you being in the room we are playing these songs together.
All I ask is that you sink into it as deeply as you can. This music isn’t something to understand, it’s something to hear. So please, listen with your whole body.
