Roger Freundlich - Cop City - Eight Jazz Compositions by Roger Freundlich (2022) Hi Res

Roger came to the Sibelius Academy's Jazz Camp in the summer of 2019 with a folder in which he had collected his own jazz compositions and arrangements. The notes immediately looked quite professional and Joonatan Rautio, who was a saxophone teacher, suggested that we could play one of the works at the teachers' concert. Roger thought the idea was good. After the concert, I asked if he would be interested in recording these on the record, so Roger got very excited about the subject and that’s where the project began, in which I selected these great compositions to be heard on the record from many demos. A number of jazz artists from the country's number one chain were selected as musicians and we are quite satisfied with the result.
