Strayin' Anchors - Funk, Blues, and Green (2022)

Strayin’ Anchors hails from Jacksonville Beach, Florida. A small surf town, in the largest geographical city in the USA, the band started out with organic roots in the garage in an alley way and a strong love and passion for all music. It didn’t take long for a shared original sound to develop. The group began playing shows around Jacksonville and St. Augustine having developed an early reputation for powerhouse live performance, playing originals and tasteful covers alike. There are 7 members in Strayin’ Anchors, each bringing a unique musical aesthetic to the band and work together to sound as one, proving that our sum is greater than our parts. Over the years we’ve grown comfortable jumping genres and mashing up influences, to produce a recognizable sound that provides good vibrations to make one feel at home.
