Danny Wright joins the Christmas crowd with a fine collection of standards. Rather than trying to fit them into a contemporary kind of format, Wright has taken the songs and given them a treatment that's almost classical, creating arrangements that involve piano, violin, oboe and English horn. The result is pleasant, relaxing, extremely attractive and very, very engaging - not a twee moment to be found anywhere here.
