Marco Vezzoso, Alessandro Collina, Andrea Marchesini - Kind of Vasco (2022)

On March 18, "Kind of Vasco" is released in physical and digital format, a double album containing some of the most famous songs by Vasco Rossi revisited in a jazz key by the duo Marco Vezzoso (trumpet) and Alessandro Collina (piano), together with the percussionist Andrea Marchesini .

Made to pay homage to the rocker who has just turned 70, "Kind of Vasco" is an entirely instrumental project and consists of 15 songs in which the trumpet takes the place of the voice to give life to a metamorphosis that combines rock and jazz , passing through the sounds of classical music and world music.

The idea of ​​the project - which boasts the participation of a string orchestra conducted by Maestro Corrado Trabuio and the intervention of the Indian violinist Neyveli S. Radhakrishna - was born after the success of the instrumental version of "Sally", taken from album "Italian Spirit", which received the appreciation of Vasco himself. And he himself shared a post dedicated to the jazz duo's project on his Instagram channel.
