Gleich auf der ersten CD ihres eigenen Labels ANIMA E CORPO bewies die spanische Sopranistin Raquel Andueza anhand zum Teil erstmals eingespielter spanischer Lieder des frühen 17. Jahrhunderts eindrucksvoll, dass sie eine würdige Nachfolgerin der großen Montserrat Figueras ist. Eine Sängerin mit einer Stimme der man stundenlang zuhören könnte und die subtil die gesungenen Texte auszudeuten vermag.

This is a programme of Spanish and European music, all of them with Spanish texts, compiled in different European sources of the XVIIth Century (Spain, France, Italy, England). Many of them are world première recordings. It is the first CD of the Spanish soprano Raquel Andueza with her group La Galanía.
