Faneka - Caliu (2022) [Hi-Res]

FANEKA is an all female band based in Madrid, Spain, and it's also an experience of self-love, care, healing and transformation. Our music has often been labelled as "magical" and powerful. Genres we explore go from North and Latin American folk, gypsy-swing, classical, psychedelic rock and grunge.

The band started in 2016 when lead singer and writer Inés (guitar) and Bruna (cello) started playing together after they were introduced by a common friend. A self-produced LP brought us together with Anika (violin) (Ombligo) and Miriam (cajón) (El No de las Niñas). Another independent release followed in 2019 with El Viento y la Flor and now we're preparing our second album with producer Gonzalo Lasheras.
