The Nordic Series are three compositions by Ejnar Kanding combined in a work cycle, composed for piano, strings and live electronics, and which is inspired by life in Scandinavia.

Nordic Broken focuses on the broken, like nature can break ground, mountains and wood. Broken as the unavoidable decay, a prerequisite for new life. Broken as the mind can be burdened with grief. To be broken, that is, to be humble, for example, towards the beauty of nature.
