Nomad folk rocker Gabriel Kelley describes his album as 'a collection of
that I've written inspired of days travelling from town to town'. Kelley
grew up in countryside Georgie inspired by old time, pre blue grass being
definitive for his musical journel. As a 16-year-old leaving the States for
Sweden as an exchange student, gaining inspiration through his music
teacher, also learning how being classified as a stranger - Kelley, today
also fluent in the Swedish languange - decided on pursuing his music
career.

Kelley's care for social and community issues also influence his music. Not
being able to put in a certain genre, Kelley's folk-rock singer/songwriter
songs on "Lighter Shades Of Blue" dwells in between the bitterswett
tradition in which socially conscious lyrics are united with beautiful
melodies.
