Maura Mazzonetto - Al mondo musicale (2022)

Carlo Graziani-Walter (Brussels, 1851 - Florence, 1927) was a pianist, mandolinist, composer, who distinguished himself for a wide musical production dedicated to the mandolin and in general to the world of picks, and of course the piano.
It is mainly chamber music and music for small orchestras, the noble spearhead of the best late European romanticism.
Thanks to the close relationships with the upper middle class and the Central European and Italian nobility, Graziani-Walter often, if not almost always, drew inspiration from the knowledge and friendship for his works which almost always boast a specific dedication to this or to that.
The repertoire proposed in this disc is the result of careful research carried out by Maura Mazzonetto, professor at the C. Pollini Conservatory of Padua, all focused on the rediscovery of original and unpublished manuscripts.
