Mary Everhart is a professional Blues, Southern and Classic rock (Vocalist, Guitarist,Composer, Recording artist) and is a proud member of the Echota Cherokee Tribe of Alabama-Deer Clan. She was nominated by Blues legend, Jimmy Lloyd Rea, and inducted in 2010 into the Blues Hall of Fame as a Great Blues Artist from Tallahassee, FL. The following year she was inducted again into the Blues Hall of Fame as the Ambassador to Tallahassee, FL.

Mary was born and raised in Tallahassee, FL and has always had a passion for music and writing, and has been performing for over 35 years with various local and regional acts. She has covered the southeast in that time, performing in clubs, festivals, bars and benefits, as well as studios. A review of Mary's debut CD 'Rottweiler Blues' by Blues Revue magazine, compared her voice to Koko Taylor and Lou Ann Barton. Singing throughout her childhood Mary also knew she wanted to learn to play guitar. She received her first guitar when she was 12 years old and began teaching herself to play with a Mel Bay book and by watching others play. It was not easy for a left handed person to play right handed but, Mary persevered. She later made a deal with Oprah Winfrey's Oxygen network for some of her songs to be used in their programming.

She later moved to Atlanta. GA where she became part of the Great Atlanta Blues Revue for 7 years and performed the Sweet Auburn Heritage Festival, The Great Atlanta Blues festivals in Woodruff Park, Piedmont Park, Auburn Ave. and many other festivals each year as well as clubs. She was a part of the photo shoot in Piedmont Park for the Georgia music Hall of Fame. She also stood on the Georgia Capitol steps in protest and sang and played to a local and National audience, both television and syndicated radio, as her part of helping the law to be changed in Georgia against paternity fraud. She also performed to help raise awareness and money for Habitat for Humanity,Big Bend Hospice, Juvenile Justice League, Autism Awareness and promoting Native American Heritage. She recorded and released her 2nd CD, Distant Star in 2003 which covers a wide variety of Blues and Southern rock originals.

She moved back to Tallahassee, FL in 2006 and began piecing together some of the best musicians the panhandle of Florida has to offer. She wrote and recorded a new CD 'Light Shines Through' which was released March 2015 which is now on sale at cdbaby.com and all major music stores and features her effortless vocals and stinging guitar on original material...
