Vom Hudeln Kummt Nix is a special work in several respects, which the 4 individualists created on a Sunday in September. What stands out the most is the fact that the album is 100% improvised. Not a single note, no sequence, not even keys or rhythms were discussed in advance. Rather, the 4 sound artists trust in creating artistic creatures together and sometimes against each other at the moment, which would possibly be nipped in the bud by too much talk. This allows things to be expressed that lie dormant in each individual; which no bolt is put forward by predetermined structures.
This approach unites the 4 very different musicians in a somehow bizarre way. When PretBlaDudem performed for the first time (without a rehearsal, of course) it was clear to everyone that with this formation they had found something extraordinary that they might never have been looking for. To this day, no one dared disturb that magic by doing structure and order. The plant that PretBlaDuDem planted unintentionally seems to be too fragile.
From this point of view it becomes obvious that this is the only way PretBlaDuDem can record and produce the first album. Without a plan, in your own studio, without expectations and without a specific goal. What comes out of it is honest, handmade and highly emotional without even being a hint of kitschy.
