Toronto Tabla Ensemble - For the Love of Tabla (2022)

For The Love Of Tabla is the latest groundbreaking album from Toronto Tabla Ensemble. Artistic director and founder, Ritesh Das, sought to make the tabla front and center on For The Love Of Tabla. The tabla often was lost amongst other instruments, something Das wanted to change. Das also wanted For The Love Of Tabla to embody feelings of love and devotion, themes Toronto Tabla Ensemble had yet to explore. While the pandemic made some obstacles for recording For The Love Of Tabla, Das managed to work around it by having his musicians record their parts remotely from around the world. The result was the masterful For The Love Of Tabla.
