“Hibiki” outstandingly performed a couple of masterpieces by Borodin and Smetana, two of the major composers of nationalist school.

A masterful string quartet compilation of Borodin and Smetana - two of the major composers of nationalist school – performed by “String Quartet Hibiki,” up-and-coming string quartet in the scene. Four of the members who currently perform in top orchestras from home and abroad are also schoolmates from Toho Gakuen College. They formed “String Quartet Hibiki” in 2004 to meet their will of giving people a rich harmony that can only be created by string quartet. This album is not only attached to a precise ensemble and “sentiment of Russia and Bohemia,” but it turned out to be an impressive piece of performance that brings charms of musical compositions as pure music.
