Direction Baltimore to meet an emerging group called Tomato World. Behind this incongruous group name hides a trio which is composed of Austyn Wohlers (vocals, guitar, keyboards), Jamison Murphy (vocals, guitar) and Mike Alferi (drums) ready to show us all the colors with their first EP named Gold Arc.
Tomato World wants to be a missing link between Spirits Having Fun and Stereolab through these six absolutely sumptuous new titles. And it is not songs as dreamy as they are inventive like the opening track called "Red Machine" or even "Truth Lounge" and "Lover's Arc" that will make us say the opposite. The trio from Baltimore imposes its absolutely charming universe which goes beyond all borders with "Stone" and "Shying" and which inaugurates only good things for them. A more than honorable start.
