Singer-guitarist Spencer Davis (1939-2020) was the namesake of the band that operated between 1963-1969, in the company of the Winwood brothers and drummer Pete York.
They had several hits and the chariot went well until the departure of singer-organist Steve Winwood in 1967. He reformed his band in 1973-74, but he could not repeat the old successes.
His solo album, Crossfire, was released in 1984, and tkp. He didn't make another major album anymore...
This album with live recordings of 4 older hits in CD format with dozens of titles and mixed song order, but with these songs released over the decades.
