J-Fills - It's All Relative (2022)

Debut album 'It's All Relative' melds influences from the soul of musician and producer J-Fills, moving fluidly through jazz, hip hop, electronica and soul.
From an eclectic mix of musical roots and styles, these instrumentals branch from uplifting latin-flavoured beats and irresistible jazzy joints to intimate moments of soulful improvisation seasoned with gospel, R&B and spirited folk accents.
J-Fills says: I think it's difficult to define an album like this as jazz. It's a fusion of many genres like R&B, classical and even hip-hop. I like jamming at the piano, stumbling on cool hooks and chord progressions which unlocks a door in my brain, then I just let it stew for a while. I give space for my mind to be creative and let it go where it goes. This album is full of songs inspired from those moments.
