ACUA - Is There More Past Or More Future (2022)

The Cologne combo ACUA poses a really interesting question in the title of their second LP "Is There More Past Or More Future", because although this question cannot be answered conclusively - and also excludes the present - this question is a nice aphorism for ours directionless and disoriented times. The theme is also reflected a little in the musical implementation. Not by PATRICK BRAUN, CAROLINE PRINZ-HOLTORF and IGOR FRANJIC poking around in music history without direction or orientation, but by being open to the amalgamation of past and (possible) future and thus finding their own musical path.
