Infinity II is the second album and 26th release by saxophonist and composer Jeremy Rose, recorded in collaboration with pianist Novak Manojlovic, drummer Tully Ryan, and modular synth artist Ben Carey. Described by critics as "buoyant invention" and "a creative force," the album is presented as "a single unfolding gesture"—an immersive meditation on time, motion, and memory at the outer edges of jazz, ambient, and electronic music. Recorded live in Sydney, Infinity II features modular textures, swirling improvisations, and lyrical saxophone lines, crafting soundscapes that feel both composed and improvised, which Rose attributes to the group's deep connection. The album's visual realm is extended by Mia Taninaka’s artwork, whose dreamlike imagery mirrors the music’s balance of fragility and power. Rose, an ARIA Award winner known for transforming the Australian contemporary jazz scene, is also the founder of the Earshift Music label. His recent work reflects his academic interest in minimalism, memory, and repetition. Rose's collaborators are also notable figures: Manojlovic is a pianist and Artistic Director of SIMA, Carey is an internationally acclaimed modular synth composer, and Ryan is a dynamic drummer known for his work with the Godtet ensemble.
