Re-issue of the acclaimed classic (first edition 1977) 'Kew Rhone' by Peter Blegvad, John Greaves and LISA HERMAN on RECOMMENDED. The cooperation of SLAPP HAPPY and Henry Cow was due to musical and political differences did not last long. Dagmar Krause was then at Henry Cow, but Anthony Moore and Peter Blegvad left the band again. Nevertheless understood each Blegvad and HENRY COW-bassist John Greaves so well that they were working in 1977 on a new musical project, which answered to the name 'Kew Rhone'. John Greaves wrote this all the music, Peter Blegvad was responsible for the lyrics, but took not the vocals. For the duo took mainly in person from LISA HERMAN gain. HERMAN is supported by APRIL LONG, Carla Bley and DANA JOHNSON. Musically, the concept album between jazz-rock, avant-garde and fusion is to settle Jazz. High quality, but far from easy to digest for the listener. It is and remains a masterpiece, which has been completely laid to right again
