Ragawerk - Ragawerk (2022)

Frankfurt - Mumbai, loops and ragas, electronics, jazz and a pinch of Krautrock. Ragawerk put on new strings that span from Europe to the Indian subcontinent - and play them withvirtuosity. The new project by Max Clouth and Martin Standke develops intense grooves, cosmic sound panoramas and deep meditations. Fluid sounds meet edgy beats, spaceopeningguitar sounds float above the electronic textures of a modular synthesizer. Indian and Western sound elements merge into a unique fusion. The band's roots in jazz remainunmistakable. Indian ragas and European jazz craft become Ragawerk. This is also the name of the debut album.
