VA - Two If By Sea - OST (1996)

Two If By Sea is a romantic comedy starring the incorrigible Denis Leary and America's sweetheart Sandra Bullock as lovers that try to get ahead in life by performing a heist. Since the movie is a romance aimed at twenty and thirty-somethings, the soundtrack is appropriately a collection of pleasant adult contemporary and adult alternative songs. Despite the presence of the Pointer Sisters, the Connells' George Huntely, Belinda Carlisle and the pairing of Shinead O'Connor and Shane McGowan -- whose gnarled, barely comprehensible vocals sound completely out of place amid the smooth textures of the album -- there aren't many distinguished songs on the record.
