The innovative Bay Area alt-rock outfit's seventh studio album and first collection of new music since the group disbanded 17 years ago, Sol Invictus finds Faith No More getting back to their dark, experimental rock roots. Recorded in Oakland, California with longtime producer Matt Wallace, and released via the band's own Reclamation Records imprint, the album was preceded by the singles "Motherfucker," which was released on November 28 (Record Store Day) 2014, and "Superhero," which dropped on March 1, 2015.
